Let’s celebrate! To kick off the 30th concert season, the Kishwaukee Symphony Associates are hosting our annual KSO Season Preview, with KSO Music Director Linc Smelser, at the historic home of Shirley Nehring, 417 N. First Street, DeKalb: Sunday afternoon, September 23, at 2:00 p.m. (Parking available at Ellwood House.) Light music and refreshments will be served. What is KSA? We are the support organization for the KSO. We, with the help of many of you who care about the quality of life in our area, started the endowment fund seven years ago to help ensure the orchestra’s future. Membership in KSA is one way to support this important mission. You may renew your membership, or become a new member of KSA, at the membership level of $25.00 for an individual or $35.00 for a family. In honor of the KSO’s 30th season, noted Chicago violinist, Rachel Barton Pine, will perform a benefit concert with the KSO Friday evening, November 2, 7:30 p.m., at NIU’s Boutell Hall.
