The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1976, is a non-profit institution
under the statutes of the state of Illinois. Its programs are enhanced by nationally
known guest conductors and soloists from the Sycamore-DeKalb area. The
orchestra’s concerts and policies are administered through the efforts of its Music
Director, Linc Smelser, the Orchestra Players Committee, and a fifteen-member
Board of Directors composed of citizens from the community. |
