Dear Teachers and Instrumental Music Students: It is with great pleasure to announce the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra's 21st Annual Arthur D. Montzka Young Artist's Concerto Competition. This competition was begun by Art Montzka 21 years ago and has enjoyed a proud tradition of featuring some of Northern Illinois' finest young talented artists.

The May concert, featuring the winner(s) of this annual competition, has become a highlight of the year for the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra. This year our orchestra is celebrating its 30th season.
