Kevin Davis is currently in his 12th season as the KSO's principal trumpet and has performed with a wide range of musical groups in the Northern Illinois/Chicago area including; the Kishwaukee Symphony, the Dekalb Municipal Band, the Glenview Symphony,the Rockford Symphony, the U.I.C.-Chicago Concert Band, the First Free Church Orchestra, and several productions at Starlight Theater.

He has studied with members of the Chicago, Columbus, and Detroit Symphony Orchestras, and has taught in Michigan, Texas and Illinois where he is currently holds two teaching certificates.

In addition to performing, Kevin runs the project studio Musikd.com which has recorded and mastered Cd's for a variety of area musicians.

He enjoys creative writing and his poetry book Lost Trails has been exhibited at the London Book Fair, the Frankfurt Book Fair and at the Book ExpoAmerica.

Although he occationaly 'borrows a fairway' when teeing off, Kevin enjoys golfing with family and friends when time and weather permits.
